Peter Garrett CMIOSH, RSP, Chartered MCIPD, Dip Training Management
Director of Safety and Environmental Services (SES)
Before joining SES, Peter worked in a wide range of industries, including toolmaking, automotive, aerospace and research and development. He held various senior positions as training manager and H&S manager, developing courses applicable to the full spectrum of industrial and commercial sectors. He has also lectured in Craft and Engineering Studies, within further education.
His specialities include noise and vibration, Legionella, managing road risk and health and safety training. |

Nick Bartmanis CMIOSH, RSP
Before joining SES, Nick was senior project health and safety engineer with Jaguar Cars and health and safety adviser for Massey Ferguson.
His specialisations include machinery safety, COSHH, including personal exposure monitoring, and health and safety audits. He is a member of the BSI Technical Sub Committee on the Safety of Rubber and Plastics machines. He has also been a member of the working parties for HSE publications on CNC turning machines and power presses. |

Michael Palfrey CMIOSH
Michael joined SES after extensive heath and safety experience in the UK and continental Europe. Most recently he held a key Field Safety role with Air Products plc, the multi-national US based gases and chemicals company, before which he was with a Swedish industrial gas manufacturer. Previously he had worked in Quaility Assurance for Triplex Safety Glass in Birmingham.
Complementing his specialist knowledge of industrial gases and related safety issues, Michael is also a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) and competent to give advice on all aspects of the ADR and UK Carriage Regulations regarding the transportation of dangerous goods by road.

Bob Holdcroft CMIOSH, RSP, AsA
Bob has extensive practical experience across the engineering and manufacturing sectors. A safety officer for more than 15 years, before joining EEF he worked for GKN Technology and Chubb.
His specialisations are COSHH, noise assessment and control and motor vehicle repair. He is a former member of the HSE subcommittee on the Application of PUWER in motor vehicle repair. |
